Common Core State Standards - Resources for Connecticut Teachers:

CEA has created a branch of their website dedicated as a resource center for the Common Core State Standards. The site, designed by teachers, provides teachers with help to understand the newly adopted standards and provides resources to help your students excel. Visit the Common Core Resource page to get started!

Teacher Evaluation Resources:

CEA has compiled a list of resources available for teachers as the new System for Educator Evaluation and Development (SEED) is implemented throughout the state. SEED is the State Department of Education model teacher evaluation plan. In June 2012, the State Board of Education adopted new guidelines for teacher evaluation to reflect statutory changes passed by the legislature in the 2012 session. The State Board guidelines, the SEED document, and other related documents, including a FAQ about the new evaluation system can all be found here, through CEA's Teacher Evaluation Resources.
